The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Has released the notification regarding the selection of Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Participating Organisations. The Exam is conducted on behalf of different banking sector companies and for the candidates who want to work in banking sectors. As per the notifications released the exams for the IBPS PO Exam has been scheduled in the month of October/November 2016.
A common written exam will be conducted in the 1st stage of IBPS PO Exam also known as IBPS CWE PO/MT Exam.After qualifying the IBPS CWE Exam the eligible candidates will be called for the interview process, which will be the final step in the selection process. IBPS PO Application Form 2016:-
The candidates can apply for the IBPS PO exam online. The candidates must have to fill the IBPS Online Application form through the official website of IBPS. The application form will be available from the date as mentioned below. It is important to read all the instructions mentioned on the website before filling the application form.
Eligibility Criteria for IBPS PO exam:-
Candidates, intending to apply for CWE PO/MT-VI should ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS.
Educational Qualification (As on 13/08/2016) :-
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Nationality / Citizenship:
- A candidate must be either –
a Citizen of India or
a subject of Nepal or
a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1 st January 1962 with the intention of permanently
settling in India or
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years (A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1986 and not later than 01.07.1996 (both dates inclusive)
Admit Card 2016:-
Admit card for the IBPS PO Exam can be found on the official site of the IBPS. Any candidates found without the admit card shall not be allowed to appear for the online examination and thus the selection procedure. Therefore, candidates must get the admit card printed at the earliest when it will be available.
IBPS PO Result 2016:-
The IBPS PO/MT Results 2016 will be released in the month of November. for all the 3 stages the results will be uploaded on the official website of the IBPS. As per the result criteria, the final list of candidates will be released. The candidates can check the result for the IBPS PO by entering the roll number.

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question
