  • NEET 2017 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national level medical entrance exam, which is conducted in the month of May. The Exmas will be conducted for the students who are seeking admission for the courses of BDS/MBBS into govt/private medical colleges of India. The NEET Exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year. As per the last order by Hon.     NEET Eligibility Criteria :-

    • Nationality :- The candidate can be an Indian Nationals OR an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India)
    • Age :- Minimum Age limit is 17yrs & Maximum Age limit is 25 years for General where as For reserved category the maximum age limit is 30 yrs.
    • Educationla Qualification:- Students must have passed/appearing 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology or any other elective subject with English.
    • Percentile:- Students must have secured minimum 50% marks in PCB group for general candidates and 45% (for general PH) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC categories).

    How to fill NEET Application form 2017 :-

    NEET Exam Pattern:-

    As per the marking scheme, each correct answer will carry 4 marks and 1mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks will be given for the unmarked answer.

    NEET Exam 2017 Syllabus :-

    NEET 2017 Exam Centers:-

    The candidates need to select the NEET Exam centers while filling the NEET Application form online. The candidates are advised to have a look at the options before choosing a centre. It is to be noted by the candidates that NEET is a national level examination due to which it will be conducted across 29 states and 7 Union territories of the country.     NEET 2017 Admit Card :-

    The NEET Admit Card 2017 will be provided via online mode through the official website of NEET. The admit card will be available to download from the first week of April 2017. Candidates should note down that the admit card will not be sent by post. The admit card will contain exam and candidates related details like exam date, exam centre, name and roll number of the candidate.

    NEET 2017 Cutoff :-

    It is the minimum marks the candidates need to secure to qualify the exam. The cutoff of NEET will be released after the declaration of result. The candidates who have scored equal to or more than cutoff marks will be the qualifiers of NEET 2017.

    NEET 2017 Result :-

    The result will be announced in the 1st week of June. The result will contain the rank and score of the candidates. Based on the NEET result the seat allotment will be done.

    NEET 2017 Counselling

    The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will organize the counselling for 15% All India Quota through online mode. Admissions to students will be given as per the ranks scored by them in the entrance examination. Counselling for state quota, central institutions and universities or many others will be organized by their respective counselling authorities. In counselling process, students will be required to choose the colleges as per their choices. Seats will be allotted to students as per choices filled by them and availability of seats.
